Our Men’s programme, boasts two performance teams and one recreational team, all of which compete in BUCS competitions and leagues. Additionally to competing in BUCS, players from our Men’s teams play in the BBL with the Worcester Wolves, compete in NBL with Worcester Wolves 2 or participate in YBL with Wolves 3.

Winners of multiple league titles and BUCS Championships, throughout the years our Men’s Basketball programme is one of the most successful in the UK. Whilst winning is good, our success is much more than that. Basketball Development Officer and Head Coach of our Men’s 1st team Dean Blake believes in success on the court, off the court and beyond. “Any student athlete that attends University of Worcester, will be challenged and supported to improve and take their game to the next level (whatever level that maybe for each individual). Our coaches will ensure players and teams are developing winning habits on a daily basis, putting us in a good position to win, come game day. More importantly those habits will transcend off the court to ensure our student athletes will win off the court whilst at University and in their life, once they have graduated.
