My name is Henry Wilkins, I’m a professional player from Guildford, Surrey. I grew up playing junior basketball for a few different clubs in London. Kingston Wildcats up to under 14s, then London Towers to under 16s and finally London united for under 18s. After this I took a gap year and played for Westminster Warriors before going to Leeds Metropolitan university. At Leeds I played for 3 seasons in BUCS and NBL for Leeds Carnegie. Under Coach Matt Newby we had some good success in both competitions, in my final year winning the National Cup and coming 2nd in BUCS, losing to Worcester in the final.

After my 3 years in Leeds I was fortunate enough to start my professional career in 2013, signing a contract in Denmark where I played for Team FOG Næstved. Following this I played for Club Baloncesto Villarrobledo in Spain in 2014/15. In 2015 I returned home to play for Surrey Scorchers in the BBL, transferring back to Spain half way through the season to play for Quintanar. The next season took me to Austria, playing for Dornbirn Lions in 2016/17. I then returned to Spain for the third time in the following season to play for Club Basket Tarragona in 17/18 before coming home for two seasons with Surrey Scorchers again! This season I came to Worcester Wolves to play for Coach Newby in the BBL, 10 years after first playing for him in Leeds! I am also studying for my MSC in Sport Coaching and part of the BUCS coaching team
