2020-2021 –

Shanice returned back from injury this season.  Even with the challenges of COVID, Shanice managed to put up averages of  9.1 points, 7.1rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.  A longside playing for Worcester Wolves Ladies, Shanice is in the first years of a MSc in Sports Coaching.

2019-2020 – After having my surgery within February 2019, I was able to rehab for the last part of the season. However I only managed to player a handful of games on limited minutes sure to my injury before Covid hit and cut the season short. During the games I did play, I was able to contribute to the team winning the league and promoting us to Division 1.

During this season, I was also completing my third year of my course, this year was essential for me to graduate with and upper classification as my injury hindered my physical application to practice and coaching within the previous year.  This year was however difficult towards the end due to covid meaning that contact with tutors were minimal and so all coursework and assessments were conducted through interpretations rather than being able to have a developed understanding

2018-2019 – Shanice ruptured her ACL and tore her meniscus in pre-season.   Unfortunately ruling her out for the remainder of the season.

2017-2018 – With my second season I had an impressive season where there were a handful of occasions where I was mentioned on the NBL Best of the rest. During this season I also managed to score 6/8 three pointers with an average of 16 points per game. Within this season I also managed to score 32points within the playoff game vs Nottingham Trent which contributed to the successful 82-52 win.  I also started my new course Sports Coaching Science this year, as I found sports therapy wasn’t the route I wanted to go down.

2016-2017 – Worcester Wolves Division 2 was my first season within Worcester. Within this year I managed to score a career high of 43 points. I applied for Sports Therapy and completed the first year before deciding I wanted to switch course due to it not being the path I wanted to go down.

Before Worcester –

2016 was the year I came to Worcester, however before this I was apart of numerous different programmes and teams.

My first team was West Bromwich Albion where I played my first season of Under 18’s at the age of 14. For my next season I then transferred to Bromsgrove Bears who had an Under 16’s programme and a women’s programme where the head coach who was also the head coach of West Midlands Women’s U15 and U17s team allowed me to play both. Although I didn’t win much within these years, I did achieve Coaches Player and the opportunity to play for both the U15 and U17 Regional Programmes at just 15.  After this I was noticed by two colleges where I could continue my basketball journey. I decided on the AASE Academy Oaklands in Hertfordshire. This academy provided me with the opportunity to develop my skill set as well as the opportunity to compete at a higher level. Oaklands had a partnership with Hertfordshire Warriors and so all those who were u18 were able to play both for Oaklands Women’s D2 and U18s Hertfordshire Warriors. During my time at the college there was a period where I joined Sheffield Hatters to provide me with the opportunity to play WBBL however due to the traveling this got too much. Within my time at Oaklands I managed to make the England squad 2 years in a row and the England U17’s Team.  I developed as a player, coach and person, providing me with the assets I needed to play at the next level. After I completed my course, I took part in the Midnight Madness Basketball Tournament and found myself at the white out finals before I flew out to a School Florida to Study for my SAT’s and compete in the USA. Due to personal circumstances, it was in my best interest to come back to the UK and continue my season here. This is where I found out about Worcester.
