2020-2021: Playing WNBL Division 1 with the Worcester Wolves

2020 – Graduated from the University of Worcester. Is now studying a research degree within concussive head trauma elsewhere (UOG). Layla helped Worcester Wolves Women secure promotion to WNBL1, by winning WNBL 2.  Layla was voted Most Improved Player for the University Women’s 1st team.  She also won Full Colours at Colours Ball.

2019 – Layla was awarded Half Colours at Colours Ball

2017– Joined the University of Worcester studying Sport and Exercise science at Undergraduate level. Started to play for the UW women’s 1st teams and Worcester Wolves division 2 team

Before Worcester

Layla played for Bristol storm from the age of 13 up to the level of Division 1 WNBL.  She also represented the South West teams at both under 15’s and 17s level. Layla has represented England at U16’s and U18’s squads and the England under 17 team,  playing against Scotland.
