2020  – 2021 –

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, BUCS sport and non elite sport was cancelled.  Kieran however utilised his time to work on his game, develop his athletic ability to to keep him ready for when restrictions are lifted in time for his 3rd year.

2019 – 2020

Kieran was a member of the 3rd team, competing in BUCS Midlands 2A, whilst studying Sport and exercise psychology (BSc).  Kieran had a strong first season and showed heaps of potential, it was clear he was hungry to play at a higher level.  As a Fresher, Kieran lead the 3rd team in both points and assists.  Kieran had a  notable performance against Warwick University’s 1st team, where head lead the team in scoring with 27pts to go with 6 rebounds and 3 assist.  It was after this game, where Kieran was moved into the performance programme and was placed in the 2nd team.  Kieran’s good attitude and high level work ethic ensured his transition into the second team was a seamless one. 

Before Worcester

Kieran started playing basketball aged 12 with a local league team.  aged 16 he joined Worthing Thunder.   He improved a great deal in his time at Worthing(which later on became Sussex Storm).  He was part of a team that competed in u18’s South Premier league. A new, young team, found competing in the Prem tough initially.  However Kieran admits he learnt a lot that season, which prepared him for his final year at u18 level.  In his second season the team finished with a 19-3 , affording the team 2nd place in South Premier.  During t hat season Kieran hit 7 of 8 3’s in a close victory over Surrey.  The team reached the final fours, ending up with a 3rd place finish at the end of season tournament.

Alongside competing in the junior NBL, Kieran competed in the Academy Basketball League (ABL) for Holy Trinity in Crawley.  Those two seasons, were winning seasons, both of which culminated in deep playoff runs for the ABL outfit.  During his time at Holy Trinity Kieran averaged  14pt, 6rbd, 5ast and 2stl per game.
