Myles Alexander
2020 – 21 – Myles was selected to be a part of the 1st team in this season, however due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, all University leagues and competitions were cancelled.
2019 – 20 – In his second year at University of Worcester Myles maintained his spot in the first team.
2018-19 – As a Fresher, Myles was selected to be on the first team and became a started in his 3rd game. Known for his athetlicism, Myles made a consistent contribution to the team as they pursued promotion back to BUCS Prem.
Before Worcester
In 2016, Derby Trailblazers was invited to the Harris tournament for the first time in club history, due to our accolades in the previous season finishing with a 19 – 1 record. Following this event, still part of the Derby Trailblazers, we were able to reach the final fours in May 2017. After losing the first game, I was able to assist my team in winning the second game of the playoffs with 14,7,7 and 6 steals against the City of London Academy.
Before coming to the University of Worcester I had played one season for the Derby Trailblazers 2, in Division 3. In this season, I must have averaged 16-18 ppg when coming off the bench. I also had multiple games scoring above 20 points.
In 2015, Myles was selected to the East Midlands regional team. Winning two out of the 3 games, Myles performed well in all 3 games. Myles says he averaged 10ppg throughout the tournament, however we dont have access to the stats to support his claim.

Lliffon Torr
2020 – 2021 –Unfortunate not to end my 3 years on a high due to the COVID restricitng the season from occurring. However, being selected for the second team looked very promising under the coaching of Henry Wilkins.
A great way to end the season with a alumni summer slam tournament highlighting the three years of basketball at the university a fun way to end my basketball time here at Worcester.
2019 – 2020 – Llifon started in the third team but was moved up after a series of good individual performances. Llifon enjoyed playing in Division 1A and being part of the performance programme. He felt it was a great experience.
2018 – 2019 – As a Fresher, Llifon arrived on campus and was selected to play in the Universities 3rd team. As part of the 3rd team, they made the Conference Cup Finals where they lost to Oxford.

2019 – 20 – In his second year at UW, Wale made our first team, who had earned promotion to to BUCS Prem, the season prior. After a poor start to the season, Wale’s steady guard play contributed to a strong close to the regular season where our first team made the playoffs. Eventually losing in the second round to a strong UEL side.
2018 – 19 – University of Worcester 2nd team & University of Worcester 3rd. team. Whilst representing our 3rd team, Wale had a season high 25points 8 steals 6 assist against Staffordshire University. Wale helped the 3rd team reach the finals of the BUCS Conference Cup, where we lost to Cambridge 1st team 76 – 62.

Wale started playing basketball when he was 12/13 years old at Harris academy in Peckham, London. After a year of playing he joined National League club, Peckham Pride and played with them for 4 years. During his time with Peckham Pride, Wale was part of some successful teams. At u15’s Peckham won South 2 Conference(2013/2014) and earned promotion to South Premier. That year Wale won u16 Sureshot National Cup with Peckam Pride with a victory over Ipswich Basketball (79-53).
During his time with Peckham Pride, Wale also won some individual honours. At the age of 15 he won u16 most outstanding player for the club, he also won Greenhouse best offensive player for his school team. In his last season as an u18, Wale played for Southwark Legends in South Conference. That season the team built an amazing 15 – 1 regular season record.
