Our Men’s 2nd team travelled to Coventry to play against their university Men’s 1st team.  Coventry’s team not only had the home advantage but also with the height and a full bench.  Besides that, our squad started the game strong, pressuring full court and forcing turnovers, coupled having a nice ball movement on the other end. The lack of size on the defensive end penalized us by giving up too many 2nd chance points but we leaded the game on made 3pt shots, with 13 in total, and had the opportunity to tie the game in the closing seconds but the shot rimmed out.
“Regardless of the score, our 2nd team showed great effort, personality and we can see huge improvements game by game” said Coach Andreas.   Coach Andreas also said ” A special thanks goes to great effort from Dylan and Koen.  After having played with the 3rd team played great minutes with the 2nd.”
