Men’s 2nd team fall short in nail biting 72-71 clash against Aston University. The dramatic contest went right down to the wire. Both sides traded momentum throughput the fixture, setting the stage for a tense finish.

Aston appeared to be pulling away late in the fourth. Momentum swung again thanks to a flurry of baskets from Riad Ruminas, Michali Phipps and Euan Johnson sparked a late surge for the home side. Giving our men’s team a real chance to snatch their first win of the season.

2 timeout plays drawn up in the dying seconds. Plays executed creating open opportunities but we were unable to convert them into points.

Despite the heartbreak, the performance showed significant fight and determination in our team.
