After a five-year absence from competition, our Women’s 2nd Basketball Team made a winning return yesterday. securing 57-42 victory in their opening game of the 2025 season. The game marked a proud moment for the club, as the team took to the court for the first time since the 2019/20 campaign. Third year student Poppy Golder led the way with an impressive 21 points, showcasing her skill and leadership. In the teams first outing of the season.

Coach Liliana Comments – “Whilst we have a lot to improve on, I’m happy with the win. Happy that we were able to bring back a women’s 2nd team to the basketball programme and start the season on a high,” said Coach Liliana. “The team are working hard, they’re having fun, which are keys for a successful season.”
