University of Worcester basketball returns to competitive action, as BUCS fixtures resume following the Christmas break. After a period of rest and training, Worcester teams are ready to restart their seasons with important league matchups both home and away.

The first fixtures back sees Worcester Men’s 2 hosting Birmingham University 2 at home. The game will tip off at 8pm and promises an exciting contest as both sides look to start the new term strongly. Our second team are still searching for their first victory. So be at University Arena to support the team.

Away from home, Worcester Men’s 3 travel to face Derby 2 in an evening fixture, also tipping off at 8pm. Our 3rd team beat Aston University before the Christmas break. The team will be aiming to carry on that momentum into the second half of the season with a positive road performance.

Worcester Women’s 1 also return to action with a challenging away fixture against Oxford Women’s 1. The match begins at 8pm and will be a key test against strong opposition. Sitting at the top of Midlands 1A, our team will be looking to maintain their position.

Another away game sees Worcester 1 take on Loughborough 2, with an 8pm start. This fixture provides another opportunity for Worcester to solidify their place at the top of Midlands Tier 1.
